I am the fabulous Clarence The Candy Maker. This Valentine's Day I have been coming up with the greatest new candy of the year. It is called "The Happy Heart". This sweet and marvelous taste makes every heart glow. I have different flavors: cherry, strawberry, and watermelon. Once this chewy and yummy treat goes into your mouth, I bet I would hear you gasp! Will your heart glow this Valentine's Day?!

As I walked into the doctors office, I was thinking how much I hated shots! I sure was glad that I didn't have to get a shot. You're not going to belive this but, all of a sudden I heard my mom talking to the doctor about how the flu was going around. I thought "OH NO!!" I thought that because that could mean getting a flu shot! I was sitting down crossing my fingers hoping the doctor wouldn't mention anything. He was checking my eyes and said, "The flu is going around and....." Before he could even finish, I yelled "NOOOOOO!!" I didn't want to get a shot and that is what he was going to talk to me about. I told the doctor that I forgot to feed the dogs because my mom always says that if it is past 5:00pm and I hadn't fed the dogs then she would be upset with me. It was getting to be past 5:00. Well the plan worked and that is why I couldn't get a flu shot today.

I wish all children would be nice to each other and respect one another. I wish this wish because some kids just don't think about what they are saying. People don't pay much attention to how they hurt other people's feelings! There are many people out there that are working on this, but I just wish that every kid would work on this too! When someone says something that is not very nice, it just hurts me. Usually they don't think about that. Whenever I see that happen or have that happen to me, I always think about the saying ,"Treat other people how you would like to be treated." Sometimes when I get upset about kids being mean, then I think to myself, "So that is how you want to be treated!?" I would never say that to another kid though! I just hope everyone is thinking about that saying and watching their words!
New Years Resolution By Bess Broughton
My New Years Resolution is to work on my patience. I want to grow in patience by taking time to enjoy the moment and really pay attention to what is going on rather than thinking about what I want to do. This is going to be a sort of difficult resolution for me but I think I can make it happen. I will focus more. I can't wait to see how I have gotten better at this by the end of the year. I chose this resolution because it has to do with a lot of different things and it will be helpful for later in life too.

I miss you so much! Thanks for being the best cousin I could ever ask for in my whole life!! SHHHH.....don't tell Helen!!! I get to see you about 3-4 times a year and when those moments come, my body just bursts with excitement! All these memories come to mind as I write you this letter, like the time when we went to Disney World together and went on Splash Mountain and we wore raincoats so we wouldn't get wet. I wish I could see each other every second of the day! I hope everything is going well at your house. I bet you're having the best birthday ever! When we see each other we always act like we are glued together with super glue! When we are together we never do something by ourselves. I love fishing with you in the mountains and watching you kiss the fish on his lips. I love building fairy houses with you in the meadow and finding crawfish in the creek. My topic is about bullying. I have been bullied, but I don't usually bully others. One time I was playing four square and I was in the king's square. One person I was playing with was in the three square. That person did something that made them get out of the game. I said "That went out of bounds!" Then that person started telling me that it wasn't and started coming up with excuses to still be in the game. Everyone else playing said that they agreed with me, that is was out. Then the person in the three square got mad and said "Whatever," and walked off really mad. There was nothing we could really do about it! Every time we went to talk to her she just walked away from us and didn't talk to everyone that was playing. We didn't feel bad because that person in three square made that choice. Even a little of the next day she ignored us.
I think that that was a very silly thing to get mad over because it was just a simple game of four square. It wasn't so simple after that happend. Bullying can hurt people's feelings so why do people make that decision to be mean to one another?! At Summit I have not witnessed a ton of bullying. Whenever I see someone getting bullied I might try to help out, but I always get scared I am going to get caught in the middle. If one of your friends bullies you then they are not really a great friend. Maybe if they tell you they are sorry for what they did, and why they did it then maybe you will be friends with them. If they really mean they are sorry the first time, they shouldn't bully you again.

You see, I am just so sticky that everyone sticks to me! That means they probably never want to let go of me! Are you the same about me? Do u like sticking to me? I hope you will always be my friend! I think I have to many friends! I get tired so easily! HELP me! I wish I could have some alone time with you! That will never happen. My friends just follow me around! Dear Cytoplasm, It wad good to hear from you! I am glad you have so many friends! I am the total opposite from you! I am having trouble making friends! I am just too bright! I burn peoples skin because I get mad that I can not make friends. It is a bad habit. No one likes brightness. I wish I could be less bright. I also have a habit of shining my madness in peoples eyes. At some point would you please give me some advice on how you make friends? That would be helpful. In the Winter, maybe I will make friends because I don't shine my light as much when it is Winter time because I need the animals to have some sleepy time and not much light.
